I have been searching this forum for a while and decided I ought to join, might be able to add a bit to the community, I have a 1962 mini deluxe partly restored and a mk2 1968 cooper 998 that was restored a few years ago but needs a little tidying when I have finished the mk1 as its been off road although dry stored for over 14 years. I have gathered some more enthusiasm recently and got stuck in,
Anyway hi to everyone

Here's some pics of how the mk1 stands now, was a solid shell to start and floors are original just needed inner and outer sills to first groove, few repairs to boot floor, lower quarter panel and door steps, inner outer a panels and front end and rear valance and heel board repairs, flitches are also original not bad for a 51 year old.

I just had a little crazing on stonechip underneath as it softened the zinc primer but has hardened off well now so not going to remove it as it will still be ok, need to do a little more filling and sanding then get 2 coats of high build on it.

Will get some pics of the cooper as haven't got any recent ones, but it does look sorry for itself at moment although still solid so no welding needed just cosmetic tidying

As promised a pic of my mk2 cooper, it needs a little tlc, but hopefully will get it when finished the other one
At moment it has a few things dumped on it will have to tidy up a little. It has factory recliners and right hand tank, both rare options.

The mk1 will be almond green as original colour, its an early floor start one with the grey fleck trim, hopefully get it in primer soon then a lot of flatting before any top coat goes on.
