Hi,

I have previously had this mini in the valuations area and had some interest from some members, sadly all tyre kickers!

So here it is in all its glory. A genuine 1275GT first registered 1/4/1979 that is in a pretty Sorry state, so much so that it will definatley need work to get it on the road. The work is mainly Bodywork as you can hopefully see from the pictures. The car has had 10 previous owners and i have several receipts which unfortunatley are pretty useless as most are from the 90's and early 2000's. The car has a set of 12" revolution wheels with tyres that dont like to hold air for longer than a day or two. It has disc brakes on the front and i also have some repair panels for it but only a couple. I have the rear seats and one front seat. I have both doors although one isnt attached. I also have a mismatched bootlid in black from a cooper which is also not attached. It has keys and the locks work as does the ignition. i steering wheel pictured is no longer on the car but it does have some ropey old one i found. It only has three identity plates under the bonnet two on the slam panel and one on the inner Nearside wing. I  purchased the car a year ago with good intentions but obvioulsy never got round to it and now we are moving abroad so she has to go.

I have receipts for rear subframe rebuilds (1992) starter motor (2000), alternator (1998), Service invoices claiming 66,376 miles (1992), An engine change with new alternator at 63235 miles (1992), Gearbox rebuild (1991), manifolds renewal (1990), new radiator (1990), Clutch master and slave cylinders (1990), and a booklet with 10 years worth of MOT's (1989-2006 obviously not consecutive years). Miles recorded in 2006 MOT: 98335.

There has been some extensive welding bodges. The car will need a full restoration. The drivers side a panel is new but not very well welded, the lower cross member for the dash has been cut near its end. I could see a patch by the offisde front strut, a hole by the nearside rear wheel as visible in the photos. FE396017 is the badge on the nearside inner wing and the other plates are pictured. The engine number is 38G527 205685

I am looking in the £600 region. Serious offers only. Message me if interested. Thank you for reading.

After a phone call with someone else thats interested, there are some things i think i should add to my original description:

I have all the revolution rims but one wont hold air, hence the steely on there.

The door that isnt attached has had the bottom cut off to carry out a repair (we have the repair panel) and to repair the hinge panel.

The rear subframe looks ok ish but would need a good overhaul.

The engine does turn by hand but there is no battery fitted and so i couldnt tell you if it runs or not, also the fuel is probably pretty stale.

The engine does have evidence of a leaking waterpump, but im not sure how bad as its just furring up as the aluminium oxidies.

There are no Clocks/Instruments.

The man who kindly placed a deposit for the mini has since crashed his van meaning he can no longer afford the mini. Meaning it is now back on the market!

so who wants it?
