My Brother is thinking about buying a 1992 mini sprite(1275) which has been heavily modified. The main mods are 13inch alleycats, leather seats, rc40, stage 1,stereo, sports pack arches. As the title says he's 22 years old and will have 0 years no claims and looking at classic policy of millage 6k a year.Ive added a few pics below, what sort of price should he be looking at for the year?

i dont think it will make much difference really try doing a quote on directline or go compare and that i had to do a few and got sick of filling them in but directline come in good for me and i had the package on top with breakdown cover. if you start saying its modified and all this then it will go up. cheers tom

As said, shouldn't be looking at much more than 500, being over 21 will help him massively. Plus, i'd hardly call that Mini 'highly' modified... Insurers aren't usually too bothered (as in making a difference too policy value) with visual modifications. And a stage 1 kitted mini is still no hot hatch! :P
