Hi guys,

I'd like to acquire tail lights that look like these:

I can't remember if I've asked this question on here before  :shy: But these lights look great, and I haven't seen anything like them on Ebay, on the classifieds here, or on minispares/sport.

You have to do them yourself. get some clear lenses and some lens spray paint.

I did consider this, but would a spray job result in a finish as nice as the one pictured above?

The ones above are just clear lights painted in red tail light paint. Take you time and it will look great. I did the mk2 lights on my clubby.

If you dont want to paint you can just buy tail light tinting vinyl. I cracked one of my lens so I bought this so do my next ones too see if it worked any better.

they look cool: are they legal and does the orange of the indicator come through? I'm guessing that the reverse needed remounting elsewhere?

Thanks

With normal bulbs the orange wont show through, I have a set of led bulbs which are strong enough to show the orange through the red :)

Red spray tint, takes about 10 mins plus drying time. Been pulled by cops for other stuff before and they didn't say anything about the red lights

they look smart, not sure if they're e-marked tho, whether its worth the hassle of plod getting annoyed with me! they really are plug n play tho aren't they, so could swap em out for mot time! :D
