Got an insurance quote today at Himley Hall. Nearly £300 a year for a 1973 mini, valued at £8000. 1275 Engine with a few mods, so increase in power unto %35.
I'm 36 and married, mini is second car, car is garaged, alarmed and limited mileage of 3000 miles a year.
I paid just a little more than that on a 360+BHP import Impreza Turbo STI.

Maybe. It was Footman James I think. Once I have the mini in my garage and had it properly valued, I'll look for some more quotes. I'm paying £130 at the minute, but that is with a 998 and stage 1. But unlimited mileage.
