For all you purists out there ..........Am I right in saying that on earlier cars ie 1960s-1970 ish the bonnet prop/ bonnet stay was held in position, when open, by a metal bracket riveted on, usually on the offside? where can I get these or is it a case of fabricating one?????

found a mention of this in june edition of mini mag page 46 still cant find em so will make me own....
