My car is driving me nuts I've put it on the softest setting and it still either sends me into the roof or sounds like the rear wheel is going to end up in the boot I know mini are hard but I think something's going to break and its not a pleasant experiance I want something that's gonna absorb the bumps more as I can't go over 30mph on a normal road ( well our lovely pot holed roads)

Does your car have hi-lo's fitted, and is it lowered a lot?

If so it may be running on the bumpstops, meaning no suspension and eventually major damage. Lie down next to the car and have a feel to see how much clearance you've got between the bumpstop and the top suspension arm - You should have at least 10mm clearance there so should be able to get your finger in the gap.

Other possibilities are that the cones may just be very old and worn. Eventually they collapse and don't absorb bumps anymore. If they need replacing, theres a group buy going at the moment so you can pick genuine ones up cheap: http://www.theminifo...i-lo-group-buy/
