I think you need to email the organisers for permission then sell it for nothing more than face value ? I think ?

If you contact the organisers (LSMOC) I believe they have a list of people who are waiting to buy unwanted ticket. If you want to sell it on to someone else though, then as mentioned above you're supposed to contact LSMOC to arrange for the ticket to be transferred to another person/car any way.

Do they actually check reg plates to the ticket number? I bought a ticket off someone but havent contacted the organisers but i have the ticket now?

As far as I know the tickets are individually numbered and allocated to a particular car/registration, but I'm not aware that they have any system of checking that ticket against the actual car that turns up on the day.

No they don't seem to do any checks. I have turned up several tiimes in the past with tickets I have bought off people, and had no problems. The ticket doesn't show the reg number on it, and while they probably have a spreadsheet of ticket numbers against registrations, they never seem to bother cross referencing it against the car that turns up.

excellent thats fine by me then! I now need to work out how to remove the permanant marker ring around the XL t-shirt size and circle the S size :P although a L2B tent might come in useful! ;)
