So she has been sat in the garage neglected for 3 or so months, looking very sorry for herself - missing several panels and covered in dust.

I thought that I would let her see some day light today so I opened the garage door, sat in the drivers seat and turned the ignition.

She started after 2 turns! I was amazed! I know of people with modern cars that when they are left for 2+ weeks, they fail to start!

21 years old and starts 2nd time and runs like a dream after being sat for 3 months. Hats off to you my little friend!

You've got to remember that probably nearly 100% of the time people only post when there is a problem with their mini which doesnt help :P

My Marina sat in the driveway for nearly 4 years. A drop of fresh petrol, a clean of the plugs, points and dizzy cap and it fired up on the first turn of the key :)
