Afternoon ladies and gents
Been trying to remove my clutch with a puller for near on two weeks now , in relitivly new the the mini game so forgive me if its something obvious! Had the puller on there nice and tight for a week or so just left in my shed , still nothing , so I found a lorry toque wrench erly this morning , and set it at the highest setting (350 Newton meters!!) and just after the bar clicked to say at it was at 350 the big black bolt in the centre of my puller sheerd off! , and the blasted clutch still won't come off,
Any ideas? Hope this made sense
Harry

yep basicly flowed the instructons in the hanyes manual, however just to be sure, the crank shaft washer bolt isnt the locking washer?

is engine TDC on piston 1.

You should have hit the flywheel solid part, rather than the starter ring.

Hi

This is a fairly common issue with this type of clutch they seize on
be patient and keep tapping it top to bottom side to side from the front it will give in eventually in extreme cases you may have to use heat to expand the metal

Pity about your puller and your starter ring going to be fun trying to sort that out probably best to just replace.

Good luck.

Harry, Bit late now, but you should have called me, ive just done this and it was a pig, 350 newton metres is serious pressure, you need to wallop the centre bolt of the puller with a very large hammer, also make sure a tdc on no 1, doubt you can buy the centre bolt, so its a new puller im afraid, or you can borrow mine if you like.Martin(You bought my welder and compressor)

Also make sure the puller bolts have all been pulled in evenly otherwise you are pullying at an angle and it wont shift.
