hi guys my 1977 mini 1000  just went in for its mot its not been on the road for 4 years Ive had it for six months done various jobs on it but recently i replaced the clutch with http://www.minispare...px|Back to shop

the mechanic said that when he drove it he was having to pump the pedal to get it into gear so i got him to bleed the system and put a new slave on it but after all that it was still the same he reckons that the new clutch that went it was either the wrong one or Ive put it in the wrong way around i mean is that even possible to do this as im sure the assembly  wouldn't go back together properly  i think if its not that it could be the master cylinder as its still the original one

Is it adjusted correctly? Could be the 1/4 inch stop bolt part way up the arm is in need of adjusting. Or the Clovis pins and/or the ball on the end of the lever is worn.
