I love this mini. Never Sports Pack it. There is something to be said for the Classic Cooper look rather than the SP look which can also look great but its nice to see some classics.

I love the GB badge. So simple but looks great.

Yeah I'm definitely not going too. SPs are way too common in my opinion, and the size of the arches completely takes over the car.

Prefer this kind of look anyway to be honest :)

And yeah, the GB badge was on it when I got it :)

Looks very nice, wheels are great (same as mine!) and it does look good without SP. Just one small suggestion would be clear side repeaters, I just think it looks a little odd with clear front indicators.

Beautiful car and great pictures!

Out of interest, do you have spacers on your wheels or are they just a wider alloy? They fill the arches really nicely.

Thanks! Yeah they're just wider alloys. They're 5" Superlites, so only .5" wider but makes a lot of difference!

Thanks for that. Were you at L2B, I'm pretty sure I spotted it and noticed the answer to my question.

Just to clarify as I plan on doing the similar look on my Mini because Sportspack arches are wayy to common, are they 5 x 12? As in these ones found on the Superlite website - http://www.superlite...ls/charcoal.jpg

Also, what are the standard wheel size that come on a Mini Cooper 95, 4.5 x 12?

Cheers,

Alex

Yeah they're 5x12, and yeah I think the stock ones are 4.5". The tyres on them are 165 section (previous owner put them on the smaller wheels). The wheels occasionally rub the wings on full lock, so you should probably cut the wings out, I just haven't gotten around to it.

How much do they rub because I've just had my new wings and everything fitted and was really hoping to have a somewhat deep dish rim like yours, I thought it was only 7x13's that rubbed :-( Does every 5" wheel rub or is it just the tyre you're running?

Cheers

It's only on full lock for me, and seems to only do it on a gradient. It"s really minor.
