Hey, you guys I'm going to buy new door seals soon...I can't find this piece but I think I just did is it this or this maybe this. I am confused of which one it could be. On top of that they don't look similar to mine, would I just cut out the two extra holes?..... Oh, and how do I take it off, I tried pulling it but that pin near the top won't give...Thanks

They are the right door check strap seals, you just need to purchase the one that falls in to the age of your vehicle. My one I just managed to rip off with a but of force and removing the the bolt from the strap.

Thanks, Alex... Yeah, I don't know what year my mini is exactly but I do know its an 80's mini. The seals I have are the per 86 rubber ones, so I guess those are the ones, but they all do the same thing right, I read the description of the foam seals on the link you sent me and they said that they are compatable with any mini from 1970 to 2000. Which do you think is better?

I bought the rounded ones with thicker rubber.

 

But mines an 83 but i can't see a problem if you fitted them, you can always make them fit by cutting..
