has anyone done a mini in wraping if so

how much do you need to do a full car also

 

can you apply to a car in primer ????

Yep,

Depends on the wrap and it there's a pattern on it like carbon fibre, you need to keep the pattern in line and that can mean more waste etc.

Ive done one before and 10m x1m will do the car.


Yes on primed paint, but make sure there's no rust or moisture there because it will be trapped and it will spread like shell suits thru a shopping centre.


What were you thinking of wrapping it in?

Have you wrapped anything in vinyl before?

not sure what i will use yet still looking

no i have not done this before but i was going to test a small panel first to see how it go's on

When you are looking, seek out the newer vinyl, I think it's classed as non-bubble or something like that. It has the facility to move the air bubbles out easier, so no big awful bubbles you can't get rid off etc.

It's a bit more expensive but worth it to start with.

If you want to practice start on something other than the car, try the top of a laptop that way you will be working on a small area but getting the experience of corners, radius etc. try a few things before the car. The front wings are a mare unless you know what you are doing.
