Just spent all week stripping down the 'box and just about to give it a wash through today when i noticed this....looks like it's taken a chunk off the rod steady bush housing and it's split down the side by the looks of things. Do i need a new diff housing in which case i'll get a recon'd box instead, or can i get away with it? Cheers

Some casting marks can look like cracks, and even if it is a crack it might be possible to weld it. Depends on where & how bad it is whether it's worthwhile doing.
