hey guys

my minis back windows are tinted not sure the back windscreen is though :/, anyway some lovely people when they've been in the back of him, have started to peel it off and poked holes in it, kind of annoyed about it really but just wondering whether its easier to rip it all off and get it re done or leave it as it is?

I read in a brochure somewhere that the park lane came with tinted windows when it was brand new so i am very tempted to redo it, i asked my brother and he's said just leave it but the window clips behind it need replacing so just asking you guys what your opinions are :D

cheers in advance

The standard tint was a normally subtle green called Sundym, some cars in some markets I think had a pale blue Sundym instead.  No Minis came with black tints as standard.

sounds like you've got film on the windows.  As already said above, the original tinted glass was exactly that, in the glass.  If you want the best job, I'd let one of the pro's do it.  The side glass won't be too hard but the rear screen is a hard one if you don't know what your doing

do it it will look maaaaaad, seriously though its quite a big undertaking its hard to get rid of bubbles etc, i mean how many vans do you see with crappy diy seciruty tint, its not because they want it to look bad its because its soo hard to do, i think you should just get rid off all the tint and leave the windows clear, or get proper green factory tinted windows.
