Hi guys, ever since I have had my mini the fan comes on when I start the engine until I switch it off, I tried today with a new temp sensor and still nothing

Any ideas?

Most likely its the harness, a known problem. you need this

I take it I just solder it on mate?

I've not done one to be honest, but I would probably solder it, and then heat shrink

Just an update rob,,, got the wire and soldered it, the fan no longer comes on at engine start,

Thanks for your help mate, I didn't get it off mii spares in the end as they wanted £20 but found a other dealer
