I bought a new car last November (Lexus is200) and as I bought that the brakes on the mini failed, so the mini has been garaged until yesterday, fixed the brakes and everything,

And it is amazing!!!!!!!!!!
It's 998 putting 64bhp and its flying :L so much more fun.

Only bad things are people driving up my arse when I'm doing over the speed limit,

Had some boy last night try an take over me, he couldn't get back in so he had to brake an pull back in hahaha was trying to take the mick going past aswell,

But this morning made up for that, ended up behind a vw camper and had a little race with that :L he seen me behind me and booted it was fun, came up behind a guy in a transit and we both over took it, he must of been like what the hell!!

But I need to change my seat, I feel way to high up in them

Yeah minis are brilliant fun compared to modern cars, they just feel like you are going faster, then you have some mum with two kids in the back of her ford focus barely even pushing it come past you and the realisation of how slow the mini is dawns...

But smiles per gallon is huge on this little cars :D

Oh and try cobra classics, they sit quite low :)

Yes BUT standard seat rear legs are next to the tunnel and inner sill, these 2 areas are stiffer. (Technically it is called the encastre beam effect!)
Anyway seats like Cobra that have a cross member ha sits across the (weaker) section of the floor pan behind the cross member can and do bend he floor pan.

To avoid this put a piece of 15mm plywood 350mm x 350mm unde the carpe, under the seat subframe cross member to spread the load. Job done!
