As we mini owners all know rust can be a huge problem!!

I'm looking at rust proofing/protecting the car and was wondering what success/ tips/advice people have with regards to it??

I'm thinking of waxing inside the box sections but not sure the best way of going about it.

I'm thinking of using Waxoyl on the underneath and wheel arches etc and Noxudol 700 spray for the cavities/box sections.

Many thanks

a lot of classic car magazines recommend annually for some treatments.........................I don't think a one-off lifetime of cover applies to any product!

Internally once applied you can revisit it but may not need to be redone. Externally i would do it every year before winter sets in.

The Rust proofing company i would for when i left school used to remove a lot of panels to get into some areas which your normal owner would not do but a mini you can get to everything easily.

If in doubt do it annually externally and internally bi annually unless you want to do it more often.
