Hi all i have a 998 with a stage1 kit and a stage 2 head

i have been doing a bit of tuning with a AAU AAA and ADJ needles

 

i know its a fine art to get right but i have to drive the car about 50 miles to get it

to a mini garage

i found the AAU needle fine lower end but restricted top end the AAA was best top end but and

the ADJ was crap all round

 

can anyone let me know what  would be the best needle and what type of top speed should i get out of a 998 with above mods on the engine

Sounds like the ideal would be to find a rolling road who know how to polish needles. Custom profile

 

Top speed really depends on Final Drive ratio,

Hi 087Dave, I have a similar spec to yourself but due to gearing I max out at about 85, mind you, by that speed my ears are bleeding.
