hi everyone,

right i have a Rover Mini MPI what has just come out the garage for the full body restoration looks absolutley amazing. Its going for its MOT at the begining of next week but have a slight problem with the front right suspension it seems to be dipping and scraping on the wheel does anyone know what this could be? and would it be worth replacing the whole suspension?

thanks guys

Its worth finding out where the problem is before rushing in and changing out what might be the wrong components. Might be worth taking a few measurements. Is the top of the wheelarch closer to the top of the wheel than the other side? (Wing not attached correctly) Is the subframe base closer to the ground right side when compared to the left? (suspension too low - rubber cone tires; trumpet ball joint worn); Are the wheels & tyres the same size both sides? What ws done to the suspension - have you hi-los? (needs adjustment), does it scrape when going over bumps? (shock absorber) or has there been other suspension work thats not been done correctly, maybe?

Beautiful looking Mini, I'm jealous!
