One Carb Or Two?

Every one that has a ride in or sees my running says the gear box whine is louder than any mini they have heard before any ideas what it could be? Its a standard 1987 998.
In the video the seat belt is retelling but its the whine if you listen carefully.

i would like to know this to. mine is pritty loud to especially if i put it in 4th and its louder then. what would happen if the bushes ever went? and i think its normal bronkomini

Its always been like this but every mini garage and mini people I know say it whines more that any normal one they have heard unless it got drops o straight cut gears but its not as loud as them.

Not as noisy as some, but I plum for idler bearings...
Tom2012 - yours is a collapsed double roller... and that'll start becoming a big problem.. especially if it starts locking up at slow speeds in 1st.
