Removing Bearings From Hub

Hi I have completely stripped rear hubs and am unsure how to get the bearings out?

They usually pull out without any trouble. Are they not coming out?

Remove the seal on the rear of the bearings and knock out the inner races and then with a copper drift carefully drift out the outer races from the hub assembly, there is usually a small slot in the hub to get access to the edge to drift it out. Then drift the new outers into the hub untill fully seated and grease the inner races and pop in with the spacer and replace the oil seal and refit.

 

Do not use a screw driver the inner races are a high carbon steel content and you could chip the surface or loose a eye from a flying bit.
