There were 10 A-Series powered Davrians altogether, 5 Mk7's and 5 Mk8's :-) It is nice to see one with it's original powerplant since most have been converted for larger engines from Vauxhall and Honda.

This one is stunning, I adore the interior, can't wait to see more, keep it coming! :-)

Great pics to, Surf Blue.

The rally cars posted are actually Darrians which were born out of the ashes of when Davrian went bankrupt.

These were initially quite similar but with a longer wheelbase so that longitudinal engines could be fitted

I haven't been on here for a while but it looks like all the old photobucket images cannot be viewed anymore.

Were these originally built in Hamersmith London? I seem to remember going to a small place to buy some mini parts and they were building very similar looking cars with imp motors, this would have been in the mid 70's?

Yes they did start in South London in the mid to late sixties. They then moved to Lampeter in Wales where this was built.

Unfortunately went bankrupt not long after. The ashes of the company were restarted as Darrian and are still going and very successful in rallying
