I have a straight cut 6speed jack knight box with quafe LSD diff and equal length drive shaft conversion, I have had this box for awhile but my project is taking a long time
Just wondering is anyone knew what it is worth now?
Thanks Ben

I'd agree... It should be worth somewhere in the 3 to 4k mark, but it's finding someone willing to pay the price of a decent mini for a gearbox... ??

I reckon on the open market with a view to selling rather than hoping to sell, somewhere between 1 and 2k

If its in good condition and ready to use I'd give 1200.

A helical 5 speed JKD gearbox sold on ebay a few weeks ago for over £2000. I think it was one of the Rover ones with JKD in among  the casting numbers. It also had a stripped sump plug thread.

Another point to note is does it have the uprated Motorsport Casing?  I'm presuming it's a dogbox?

Thanks for the replies, it is a JKD casing with dog gears. When I got it is was in full working order and I was told it had done no more than 10000 miles. I don't really want to sell it but it might be needed to finish the rest of the car :(

Hi there, I know it's been a while since you last posted about your gearbox, but do you still have it?
