Been away from the scene for a little while but have just finished university and have just commenced beginning a rebuild of one of my minis..

I'd like to fit 10 x 6 ultralites so I know that I need to fit the 7.5inch cooper s kit to be sure they will fit.... however.... also in the pipeline (feelers are out for a donor car) is a b16 heart for the old girl, and so I'd like to ensure there is enough stopping power. From the whole days reading on tmf and 16vminiclub I have established some excellent information regarding the braking options available to me, it would be excellent if people have some definitive answers to help fill the gaps in my knowledge.

1. I understand that the 7.9 4 pot callipers and vented discs (I have been looking at minisport ones) will fit under some 10 inch wheels... does anyone have experience with fitting these and the 10 x 6 ultralite deep dish wheels? This would be my first choice due to the increased area for cooling and the greater radius which the breaking force will be applied.

2. I have also read that 7.5 4 pot callipers have trouble fitting under 10 inch wheels, can someone confirm that the 10 x 6 deep dish ultralites will fit over them?

I understand there are a lot of these questions on the forum (I have spent all day reading search results) and so I'm only after a confirmation before I make the leap and make the purchases. I know that by purchasing a 12 to 10 kit I would be fine, however my project plans mean that I want to ensure I build the car with sufficient braking power for the b16.

Many thanks in advance... project thread to come  ;D
