Hello I have just been quoted £800 to have my mini wrapped in a glittery purple colour 😦 has anyone ever had theirs wrapped, if so what's an average price?? Also I'm wanting it a glittery purple colour so was after a rough average price of a full paint respray as I'm sure many of you have been through this :) x

If you are having the car wrapped, make sure all the rust underneath is treated beforehand! Otherwise the wrap will trap the moisture and it will get much worse!

A 'glittery' purple paint job will cost much more, trust me

i have to say that a decent paint job will look MUCH better, vinyl wrap looks dull, with paint you can achieve a better finish and depth of colour.

Where the wrap wins, is that when you want to do some strange colour, its cheaper and you can go back with no need of a full respray, just remove the vinyl and polish.

Quick note, you're probably just wrapping the exterior, minis have a lot of exposed painted surface on the inside. So if your car has been painted in green or red, will look a bit weird with purple wrapping all round..

Wrappings a false economy. It will never impress you as much as a good spray job, and it will only devalue your car/put off potential buyers in the future. Paint jobs are tried and tested and been around for years.
