I'm going building a fast road 1100 engine, will this work.
+80 piston.
295 head.
266 cam.
1.15 roller rocker.
lighted flywheels.
all belasted.
twin 1 1/4 su.

if built correctly then yes but there is more to it than just picking shiny bits.

 

what does belasted mean?

I also assume you mean 1.5 roller rockers? to be honest I don't think you would need these on a small bore, but then again I have never modded a small bore other than a stage one kit.

Money better spent than on 1.5 rockers on the smaller bore blocks, actually read KC said 1.3 is better on those motors.

 

Bear in mind due to the nature of the long stroke configuration of the 1098 its not a motor for chasing revs and a max power at 5500rpm or slightly less would be good. Should make a nice road engine, what diff are you going to run?

So a torquie motor with a high diff should be ok as a good all rounder, without screaming the motor on a lower diff
