I've had the head skimmed and vaves re seated, have a new head gasket but I was wondering in what order you have to tighten the nuts up to seal the gasket properly? I got told its crossing over from stud to stud, is that right? Also what torque should they be tightened at? Thanks

spiral from the centre nut, torque at 45N then again in spiral pattern to 55N then again in spiral pattern to 65N

Warm up the engine, fill up the fluids and check for leaks.

Retorque after a few heat cycles if using a copper gasket

then set the valve clearances, run the engine, then loosen each nut in turn and then re-torque, one at a time in the correct sequence

So is it 65Nm total torque?

68nm total, so on the final torque down set the wrench to 68nm
