http://www.carpaintr...o.uk/index.html

Basically because i dont have the ID plate for my car, I have no idea what the colour code is. I was game for just spraying the front end satin black for the meantime but thought there must be a company out there that can do what homebase and Dulux do and match paint by scanning etc but get it in a spray can.

Then i found this lot who say they can get the correct paint using the registration plate.......

So has anyone used them before?

Many thanks

Kieran

I very much doubt that the records exist for this to work with any car from before the mid '90s.  I'd be impressed if it worked for any Mini from before BMW bought the company frankly.

Assuming your car hasnt been repainted. Even if it hasnt you can be certain the paint has faded over the last 20 - 30 years...

visit a local paint shop supplier instead, they can match some paint, they can even sell it to you in rattle cans.

As for paint I think i've found the paint code for mine. Every cloud and all that :D
