hey guys i brought a glove box the other day so i can have a proper glove box instead of loosing stuff behind my dash , now i was wondering how i go about fitting it to allow me to undo the wingnuts that hold my dash in , also i wanted to mount speakers to where the air vents in the dash go , any pics or advice would be great tar

I am going to fit one of these plastic boxes to me dash. I am hoping to pick one up at Brands on Saturday to save on postage.

I have not fitted one but I assumed you would need to access the wing nuts by removing the radio and air vents.

Exactly.  I have had one fitted to my dash since I built the car and I do indeed fit the nuts through the air vent and stereo apertures, as you do with a standard dash.  The Rover liner is larger than most aftermarket dash doors and doesn't leave enough room for the studs of the aftermarket dash fitting systems.  What I did about this was cut a strip out of the centre and use plastic welding adhesive to join it back together, using the strip that came out as a reinforcement for the back of the join.  It's not a lot, about 20mm.  You just have to be nice and accurate with the cut so it joins up well.
