My horn stopped working, looked through ebay for a replacement.

Those breaker dealers are charging too much. We should boycott them until they are more reasonable.

Anyhow I found these as replacements for a third of the price (and free P&P)

So then I made up a loom extension piece. Parts available from AES Autoelectricals.

The block part is a 2way Econoseal male.

This plugs directly into the MPI loom. You can always adapt this to suit your loom horn connection.

Bolt into the car.

And Bobs your uncle. They look ok and sound really sweet too.

I am going to refuse to buy overpriced spare parts that are as knackered as the ones I am taking off.

Excuse the rant but those ebay traders really p**s me off. Also the P&P charges are horrendous.

So guys and girls lets stop using them.

Tell you a funny story, I went to make an offer on a small clip bracket from an ebay breaker.

Offered him the same price as it is on minispares, except they're out of stock.

He declined my offer, and whacked the price of a £2.24 part from Buy it Now £4.99 (already overpriced) to £5.49.

See you next Tuesday.
