Some great work there fella, classic mini spares washing line! You should patent that great idea mate
Haha cheers mate.
Only comes with one problem... Getting everything off carefully when painted. Through some parts I couldn't hang over I passed the line through holes.. I managed alright but it was pretty tense at times.

A couple more images.
Very happy with how the zinc plating turned out, it has made a big difference under the bonnet and hope to have more protection from it for years to come.

So a little bit of an update, I was back with the car on the weekend and managed to get a few little bits done.
My rear radius arms were looking a bit sorry for themselves so I gave them a good refresh with cleaning, blasting, etch and paint. I do need to have them reamed though, so I'm not sure if it would of been better to have them swapped at minispares, however these are original to the car and thats money that could go to something else if I can manage it.
Thank you for having a look.

Looking good. What size are the Allen head bolts that hold the hing to the boot lid just want to do a similar thing as I don't like studs
If I remember 1/4" thread x 9/16"

The next job was to give the underside a thoroughly good clean. Apart from the sills the rest of it is in great condition due to been protected back in the day with Ziebart, any flaky bits were removed before it was masked off and sprayed with Dinitrol ML3125 and Dinitrol 4941.
