Wow don't no what to say after reading the article! fantastic news your on the mend though pal.

Some exceptional work being carried out here too, wish I was able to produce quality work so quickly! taken me 10 years to get to where I am now with the van and its still no where near complete.

Like the idea of the hinges and latches for the front. hmmm...

will be following with interest.

Matt

Hey bud don't worry health comes first. I have just grew to hate filler as I have found so much hiding nasty bits and have a lot to put back on lol

Lol the difference is mate what you and myself are doing is putting a skim of the stuff on which most body shops would do because its virtually impossible to have a pure straight panel, not a full tin on just the flitch panel lol

Thank you Matt.

There is no rush for your project it will be done when its done and you will know every square inch of it. I plan to carry everything out from welding to painting because as any mini owner knows eventually it will rust and if you can repair that and then paint it then there is nothing you can't do on a mini. Good luck pal, thank you for your kind words.

Not much of an update I'm afraid but hopefully will have some more pictures by the end of the week. Prepping for the paint is horrendously boring but from everything that I've read, patience here will pay off when the paint is finally on.

Anyway here's a little picture of a full wall muriel done by Roofless for my little lads room. I can't recommend Roofless high enough, fantastic bloke and a great company to deal with.

I'd love any comments, tips and big no no's to avoid on paint prep!

Cheers. Love your profile picture, that building is huge, I could not believe how big it was when I was there.

Thank you, it has and continues to be an epic journey, but worth it.
