i wonder what would of happened with this web site if Mark and Nick had decided to cash in rather than hand the leadership over

My build thread is on there

Its been a good source of information for me in the past and a lot of the contributors are of the 'mature' type who don't post just for the sake of it but only if they can help.

Most people on the mk1 site are very knowledgeable and would be an asset to this site if there was a possibility we could aquire it.

I would be up for a contribution.

The only thing that would be of concern is some of the guys on there who have been involved in minis for the past 40-50 years and wont like being told they are doing it wrong by some teenager who bought their first one a month ago  if you catch my drift.

Could the forum take it over like what has already suggested but run a section like z-cars and that would keep the site going and all the information for future reference seems a shame to loose it all

If it is kept as a separate entity, but just run by TMF Admin, i dont see any issues.
