won these on eBay earlier, set of 5 KN Jupiter alloys 5Jx12, yes 12 inch jupiter's, never seen them before - EVER !!

Apparently they were an option on Canadian market minis for a few years and this set managed to stay in the UK

The price ?

Just £51 !!

chuffed to bits  :D

They would look pretty cool if you painted them. Maybe black in the middle and the triangly bits and the rims silver.

Or all silver except the triangles...

i'd like them to be, but i'll just be glad to get them here by then  >_< if they get here i will put them on if i can get the right wheel nuts and the tyres hold air properly but they wont be refurbished unfortunately...

If you need any help let me know, I still have a few bits from doing my wolfies that could come in useful. You could always take one with you to MITP if you haven't sorted nuts by then.

think i will take one along with us anyway so i can try a find some nuts that fit right and see if i need spacers too as these appear to have less dish than my current ones but are the same width

....and i can show it off  =]

I also have these wheels in 12"!! I love them, on my clubman atm. Mine need a refurb but I will try get some pictures. My plan was for the rim etc to be black and then I haven't decided between gold or silver spokes.

I would also be interested as to what wheel nuts to use as at the moment they are temporarily attached (my clubman is a project).
I might try email KN wheels and see if they can tell me.

at least i'm not alone lol i've never seen them before in 12's....how do you mean temporarily attached ? you must be using wheels nuts right ?

do they have the 60 degree tapered seat or are they the flat shoulder style ? i can't tell from the pics i've seen

I turned up a mandrel out of ally at work, it fits in a drill so you can turn the wheels slowly. I then used emery cloth and special sand paper to sand the rims to get rid of kerbing marks. I then used wd40 and autusol with scotchbrite to polish them up. It took an age but worked well. I think it worked out about 8 hours per wheel in total. You are welcome to the mandrel and some of the special sandpapers if they are any use to you.
