I'm looking to respray my mini and was going to do it with celly...
On further inspection it looks like the car has already had some paint at some stage...
now the dilema ... I have no idea what paint has gone on in th epast, if I spray it with celly it will probably react ??? is there any way round this or should I get 2-pack?

You need something called Barcoat

You can flat back your existing paint, to give it a key, and then apply a couple of thin coats of Barcoat. This then seals the paint underneath, and stops the new paint from reacting with the old. Dead easy to use, even if it is a horrible colour and it smells weird....

You mean like at the factory?
How old is your car? The factory paint is almost certainly two-pack if it's not a reeeeeaaaaally old Mini.

ho ho ... no its been painted since coming out the factory...
Can't make my mind up if its been fully painted or not, which if it hasn't, leads me to believe theyve used 2 - pack
