Well time for another project. This was kind of a accident. I had told myself I was buying no more minis and was on the look out for a commer camper van and while away looking for one over the weekend I got a message from my dad. Who had also said a few weeks before he was no longer looking for a mini as he wanted to sort out his canal boat dream haha.

Basically he went on an ebay mad one and ended up winning this.

Its a smooth roof woody fitting with lots of speedwell parts. Plan is to build a nice period car with lots of period parts. Wont be going standard as thats boring haha.

Anyway its coming home this weekend hopefully so we can look over it and decide where to start.

So thats about it really.

What do you think!

Well with my red mini painted and pretty much just a bolt together job now we should be able to crack on with this! I am still on the look out for a commer autosleeper as I want something I can chuck everything in a go away for a weekend. But this will keep me busy for the time being.

Cheers for all the nice comments guys! I'm sure it will make a nice project. I have some original dunlop d1s that will look good at this. As well as some other period parts which I'll hold on too for this. Gonna be a slow project!

Cheers guys! Lee if I was in charge of this then it would be something like that but its not so its gotta look period. Commer van is for ratty tatty roof rack crap!

Hoping to save the roof as its a smooth roof and there is no way I'll find another.
