Hi cartneil! Wouldn't have a clue about 0-60 but she spins the tubes no bother lol! It's quick for a mini lively and just wants to be revved! I have a 3.4 ratio!

Thanks for replying so long after the original post!! I was thinking of going 3.2 ratio to compromise for longer drives, as long as it can still get going when I put my foot down (as you know standard mpi is pretty pants!), I'm looking forward to getting the engine rebuilt with the same set up as yours :)

A 3.2 prob will be pretty similar I'd say! Get pics up of the build man! It's really worth the money!

Yeah will add some rebuild pics, though I don't have many of the state before it was welded up and painted!! Will sort the other pics out and get them on. Engine ready to come out and get sent for boring out to 1330 :)

Does anyone with a Specialist Components MPI Injection Kit fitted have a photograph of the correct way to connect the Breather Hoses on the system.

Many thanks in advance.

Has anyone done a build thread for fitting one of these?

I've had a new one for years just sat in the box.

Needs fitting......

Their instruction online are a little old, however they do cover installation. Your biggest issue will be a good base map then getting it mapped and set up.

Installation wise I scoured their fb page for detailed engine bay pics and worked from there, if your doing it on an MPi its relatively straight forward as removing the original MPi loom you learn where the wires go etc.

As Steve though, mine wouldnt run on their map they sent across which apparently for nearly the same spec, the base map for the 296 cam'd Mini they have ran better, got me to the dyno (essential)
