One of Adam Hill's rants on an episode of the Last Leg gave me this idea.

What would you get rid of to really p*** the British off (they don't necessarily have to be in the UK).

Things off the top of my head:

HP Brown sauce

PG Tips

McVities (they can take our lives, but they'll never take out chocolate hob knobs!!!)

Bisto Gravy

Customer service lines (without them who would we be able to complain to?)

The Classic Mini. I don't think this would just annoy us lot on the forum. I can imagine quite a few people I know would get annoyed if they were completely wiped out despite not owning one.

Easter and May bank holidays.

Can people please make sure that you have everything when they get to the checkout instead of getting part way through, realising you have forgotten something and then running off to get it, leaving the people (and more to the point ME) waiting behind you!

Every time I go shopping this seams to happen.

The other one thing that is really annoying me at the minute. Anyone else seen the new Renault Megane Advert? It shows a car with a UK number plate, driving on the left in some shots, yet all the interior shots show that it is a left hand drive car. So much for continuity and before anyone says there could be a left hand drive Renault in the UK, why would anyone bother. Renault have made right hand drive cars. I've owned one.

Lazy advertising people.

Why do female tennis players wear skirts/ dresses while playing tennis? They must be the most impractical item of clothing for playing an energetic sport in as they lift up revealing everything underneath causing an athlete to wear shorts underneath any. Why not just wear shorts and a t shirt to play in. Its got to be much easier.

What happened to the mk1 fiat punto. I found one on ebay today and I can't remember the last time I saw one on the road.

Spoiler alert!!!

I'm part way through watching training spotting 2 and I've just got to a bit when Begbie is in a club and has just spoken to a woman (potentially "woman" if you catch my drift- anyone who has seen the first one will probably guess where I'm going with this). In the scene just before he stole some viagra and took it too.

I paused it to use the loo and as is always the way it takes a fraction of a second for the film to pause, hence I've just caught the second when Begbie started talking to the woman. I have no idea what is going to happen next and won't find out until I finish writing this and press play.

As wrong as it is, I so hope it's going to be a repeat of the first film when Begbie hooks up with a "woman" in the club.

And now I find out. Play...

It didn't happen. Shame, but it was still funny.

Surely it would have been quite easy to catch the killer in the saw films. Just find the guy who keeps buying all the tape players and tapes.

I accidentally cooked my peshwari naam bread a little to much last night. It ended up tasting like a toasted tea cake.

They say if you have a 1000 monkeys sitting at a 1000 typewriters you will eventually get the works of Shakespeare.

If this is the case, how many cats do you need lying on keyboards to write one simple email?

Why do you have to be 18 to buy non alcoholic beer?

On the same note. At Weatherspoons there are two options for the meal deals including a drink. Buy certain items with a soft drink and you pay one price, buy it with an alcoholic drink and you pay another. As I usually end up as designated driver (my friends really need to learn how to drive, its only been 10 years since they were able to get their provisional license) I often choose the option of a becks blue yet get charged for the meal deal including an alcoholic drink. Shouldn't I be charged for the soft drink as there is no alcohol in it?

Well, we are still having a lot of rain and flooding issues in our area after hurricane Irma. So, every time it rains it is comforting to receive a reverse 911 phone call recording at home (to make citizens aware of emergencies and what action to take) that flooding conditions are imminent and that the following actions must be taken by the citizens: do not wash clothes, do not take baths and do not flush toilets.  :dontgetit:

Why, when you are pressure washing a wall, the pressure hose is always exactly where you are going to step?

"The enemy of my enemy is my friend"

But what if the enemy of my enemy is his own worst enemy?
