I have fitted new wheels 4.5x12 with now tyres and my suspension needs to come up as they are rubbing. Now this is an easy job loosen lock nut and adjust but my question is how many turns to do in order to raise it. what I mean is how much will say 2 full turns adjust it by and what size spanner do I need for the HIlo have minitastic ones fitted. Urgently need to do it tomorrow morning as have to drive car for daily use.

Many thanks

The suspension ratios are 3:1 at the front and 5:1 at the rear. So if you wind the front HiLo up making it 5mm taller the front suspension height will raise 15mm. The same adjustment at the rear would raise it 25mm.

Sorry no, never used the Minitastic ones, only genuine and I can't remember what size they are either!
