For the time being I want to fit a normal mini exhaust system. Looking at the stainless RC40 and PlayMini versions.

What I would like to know is - will a standard large bore (2") link pipe actually be long enough or do I need one for a van/pick up?
I ask because its designed to be used with an LCB and critically a Y piece which obviously the promotive exhaust manifold doesn't have. So I have a vision in my head that once connected to a rear box the whole thing will come up about 6 inches short of rear of the mini.

This quote is taken directly from the pro-motive website

The kit is designed to mate to a 2" performance exhaust Maniflow etc. If you use the twin box system as our car does, you will pass noise regulations for Castle Combe yet still sound awesome on the road (listen to video!)

Cheers

David

Good thanks for the help guys.
I've always used maniflow exhausts in the past but find they rust quite quickly so before long you have to repaint them again
