Yes I know that. I had contact with him when he was in the progress of making them. He would give me a price when the where ready for the public but I came across a complete rear end of an original van so I bought that instead

Big update this time.
I finely got al off the panels for the complete shell.
So I started on the rear again to make that complete.
Rear valance and corner panels, I'm going for a deseamed and no bumper look
closing panel on the inside:
Cut out the heal board and the floor extension, had to replace two sections of the rear floor.
Tried to save these and with success:
Today I started on the new heal board and extension panel, apparently I ordered a heal board for a Van instead of a estate, so it was way to wide. Didn't want to send it back to the UK because it would take a couple of weeks before I have the right one back. so I just cut it up and tried to make the best of it.
Knocked a new edge on the panel to give it its strength back.
Welded everything together so its one peace before the install
And finished it of with the grinder and a coat of zinc spray.
And we made another decision, first we wanted an tuned a-series because its easy to do, a 1275 or maybe an 1380. But a heavily tuned a-series are a bit sensitive for everyday use. Instead of an a-series we bought this.
Mz ZR 160vvc, I am going to build my own subframe so keep an eye on the updates here.

Started today where I ended yesterday, and that is fitting the heal board and extension panel.
Really happy with the end result. it was a lot of work for just two panels but it has to be done to get a solid shell.

Lets update this project a little bit.
I finisht the rear wheel arches on both side.
After that I decided to start on the front floor, turned out pretty good I think. Also replaced both lower front corner area's because the where a little crusty.

Yea sure let me know, I was looking at the fiberglass option before I bought some oem steel van side panels out of a rotten shell. Didn't do the fiberglass option because it looked like it would made the entire side of the van thicker by 5-8mm and it would look of when the doors are closed.
I had the plan to have a solid shell around Christmas but I am afraid that its not going to happen now. Had a crash at the motocross track two weeks ago and dislocated my left leg and I am still need to recover for another 4 weeks before I can really pick it up again.
