Such a gorgeous little Mini :)
Besides Surf Blue, Nightfire Red is my favourite colour on Minis, really pops in the sunlight!
Fantastic photography skills too, the pictures up on Castle Hill look fantastic.

So, about time for an update.

 

After driving around for 2 years with non existant suspension I decided it was time to change the rubber cones. Got some genuine cones from Mini Spares. This is the result. Gaps are massive but they are slowly settling (didn't fit hi-lo's as i'm a bit of a purist where the mini is concerned). Improvement in ride is unbelievable

 

Lucky I don't have any street cred as i'd have lost it now with these gaps

Did the London to Brighton run again this year. 580 mile round trip and the mittle mini behaved herself perfectly (despite the apocolypic storms driving back on the M1)

 

Stopped off in the Cotswolds on the way. Beautiful part of the world

She's a loverly mini. Yours is just how I'd like ours, albeit Almond Green. Less is more & standard is perfect.

So, it was my birthday a few days ago and my mother-in-law painted this for me

Time for a quick update. 

The little mini was due for a bit of bodywork tlc so I booked her in for a minor resto to keep on top of any issues before they get too serious (and expensive)

 

Any rust cut out and treated, then prepped for the paint shop

 

Sills checked over cleaned and treated

 

back from the paint shop. Brilliant match done by the painter

 

 

On the way back from picking her up I spotted this on the shelves in Sainsbury's. Another mag featuring the mini to add to my collection
