This weekend we drove 6 hours to a new track in Washington called "The Ridge" Motorsports Park.  What a disappointment.  Absolutely no improvements at all.  No elec, no water, no internet, we got by OK with the motorhome with it being fully self contained.

The layout of the track is the pits for spectators, Only one place to watch cars coming down one corner.  So the wife gor bored real quick.

It rained all day.  I had my grooved rain tires on the car, but 1st time out my windshield was fogged up by the 2nd lap.  I wiped both sides with RainX and tried again, Pretty much the same problem.

I had a coach riding with me 2nd time out and because of the blind corners, elevation changes, and not knowing the track I was taking it pretty easy.  He kept wanting me to go faster, so finally on the back straight I nailed it.  The car immediately did a 360 faster than you could blink an eye.

I pulled back in the pits so my coach could go change his pants, and loaded the car.  The rain kept coming, even harder, so we hit the road for home.

The car ran good, no problems, but boy what a disappointment.  Only 4 or 5  slow laps.  Even on a good warm, dry day i don't think I'll ever go back.

Currently the track is in what's called "Receivership"  The owners are suing each other, the City is suing the track, the track is suing the city, I don't think it's long for the world.  So I probably won't have to worry about ever going back anyway.

Not Good

I can recommend the heated screens for getting rid of the fogging issue, mine works a treat.

So we can cross that track off the 'If I won the lottery' road trip.......
