Got a custom MJLJ harness from David. Haven't managed to use it yet but it looks to be a well made piece of kit.

I've recently purchased Central locking, alarm and other assorted electronic additions for my SPi. I wanted to install these without messing with existing wiring and decided upon a new auxhillary fuse box. I asked David from Wired by Wilson to knock me up a quote.

After a throrough conversation over TMF we agreed on a 8 terminal fuse box with 4 live and 4 ignition live. I paid and around two weeks later received my fuse box by special delivery.

The fuse box was well packaged and came with comprehensive instructions with photographs. This was very helpful (the fuse box was tested in his own mini before being sent to me too). He even agreed to what's app session to answer my install questions as I am not very technical.

The install went without a hitch and looks at home in my engine bay.

If I were ever to sell my mini this could be removed with no lasting scars to the car. There is no added load on the original electrics and I can feel smugly confident that my car is future proof (I've big plans for more electronic gizmos in the future).

It was a pleasure to receive quality from start to finish. If you need any wiring for your mini then I'd highly recommend him and will be using his services again very soon myself (spotlight and other internal wiring).

Thanks Richard.

Always good to have feedback good or bad! WhatsApp seemed the easiest solution to the quirks of the various mini wiring ideas from Rover too. Obviously the fix I sent to sort the ignition side of things worked!!

Pleasure doing business with you.

David

Yes it worked a treat with very little fuss. Basically plug and play and took me about 30 minutes all in.

Good Sparkies are hard to find, there are lots out there who proclaim to be electricians but always pay attention to what they do, and not what they say. Wired By Wilson is a Rare find now in the classic world Todays auto-electricians use handheld scanners not hands on so much.

Very kind Kernel, much appreciated as I try and give a service I'd be impressed to receive.
And yes I am more interested in the wiring than having a computer tell me somethings amiss.

Got David to make a charging loom. Alternator to starter motor plus charge light wire for dashboard.
Cable turned up just what I wanted, braided and soldered with heat shrink .
Very good service and excellent work.
Will use again.

I bought a H4 headlight relay conversion kit, and I'm very impressed by both the product, and customer service. He will be getting another order in the near future, then I upgrade my ignition system.

:highfive:
