Hi Everyone,
I wold really like some help finding the paint I need for touch-ups. Since I am trying to repair the rust on my baby, It will look awful with it left just as primer until we can afford to have her repainted. I was lucky enough to find the last can of the color i need in Amesbury today, but more is needed.
it is: Holts Dupli-color autospray in the silk green. product number is LBM130.
If anyone is lucky enough to come accross more, please let me know. We will be at drag wars too so will happily pay anyone back who was able to get some for me.
Thanks

Thanks!
but we have much bigger problems right now. We were sanding down the problem spots (rusty) and treating them as we went along. Things were'nt too bad aside from a couple holes in my driver side a-frame, but Cowboy sorted that out with some very good fibreglass compound.
That's the least of the worries, sadly. It appears there was a rusted out patch below the window on the drivers side that the previous owner had tried to fix. But with bondo, KITCHEN ROLL and KITCHEN FOIL!!!! We aren't too happy here. What kind of moron does that? To top it off the paint was brushed on. There isn't even enough metal left to fibreglass. So with loads of begging and pretty please to Cowboy, he has taken it up into work to cut out the bad and patch it up. He is such a darling
We did take pictures of it, it is hard to believe, but true. will post the pictures up after I download the camera.
LOL kitchen roll and kitchen foil... surprised there was no cling film either

If you cant find the right spraycans , Halfords will put any colour you like into a spraycan .
What is "Bondo" ? I assumed it was something American  as i hadent heard of it untill reading the posts by the yanks
The aluminium foil you found could be "aliminium repair tape" used by the best bodgers everywhere .

No Woody,
it actually was aluminum foil used for cooking. will post the pictures up later to show you. Even Cowboy was flabergasted / shocked. Ok, more by the kitchen roll that surprised him nore than anything else. Needless to say it was really, really botched up! Just ordered the new corner panel so it will be done properly now. It was only £4.99 too.
Thanks for the tip for Halfords. I can do that when Cowboy is away.
The Bondo is a bit like plaster that you mix up to fix walls, at least that is what it looked like to me.
