why not go down and have a chat with him and take pics of what he has done, so we can all see

PLEASE

The first ones you posted up are 'tribal' flames, the second ones are 'true' flames (expensive too).

How about some ghost flames:

or these rip flames:

There are so many styles to choose from other than your conventional style flame job. This is a good book to have a read of, it tells you how to paint loads of different styles of flames, what paint to use and other paint effects including 'true' flames -How To Paint Flames

The man has replied to my email, i asked for a few different prices for just the front, front plus doors, and plus rear quarters. he really wants to do my car as the body kit makes a wicked hot rod and a huge advertising potential, so he's quoting £1800 for complete job and a show ready car... need to find out if that includes VAT... and if he's willing to accept notes :- for a small discount..

Now.. must find a way to get the car to Darlington.... Im Effed if i'm driving up there only to have to strip it down again, it's going on a trailer!!!! or in a transit.

The ghost flames look really nice, very classy. Too many options to choose from and too much money I think aswell.

One of the vinyl kits is going to be best bet for you i think, its just getting the right flames for your car.
Most sign writers will make one specific for what you want, but the ebay generic ones will probably be more cost effective.

If you decide you don't like it a year or two down the line, you can just peel it off.

I've agreed a price with the true flame man in darlington :'( if the wife finds out im knackered. :D
just got to get a date to suit me getting the car too him.

If the wife finds out, i'll blame simon for inspiring me!!!
