hi guys havnt got much done over xmas so as my clubman roof was drying i started to play with my front subframe going to weld it up and adding some holes so it looks pretty

Thanks I've seen what looked like a  bench seat in a pickup a few years back and was like I could that but better lol 

 

Any way guys spent all day yesterday drilling holes in my subframe just need to weld it up now

Im also toying with the idea of narrow beaming "to use a vw term" but getting alot of negative feed back on this. 

 

I just can't find any arches I think that look good on a pickup.

This does look very smart! And a cool idea. But imagine trying to get over a speed bump in it!!!

I'm no expert but i should imagine this is on air ride lol. you should be true to your self and your style. id love a pickup but when i obtain one ill strip the bed out and make it a rear engine rear wheel drive! if you want a skinny mini, do it.

On most PUPs you wouldn't need to strip the bed out, they are usually so rotten a swift kick would do it :lol:

HAHAHAHA i know. id put a carbon flat top over it so you'd never see it... unless it was overtaking you in your M3... sideways :D

thanks guys my plans change daily with this project and my clubman project haha well as a  mates beetle is in the unit at the moment so not getting to much done did i do a bit on my subframe got all the holes drilled and started to weld it up

But the thing is I went to Bingley on Sunday and was looking at the busamini again really really want one so mite not need the subframe

Hi guys havn't anythink apart from being on the interweb looking for ideas which can't be a good thing  :D but I have two clocks i like the look of im thinking along the lines of the bedford pickup i posted about earlier
