Hi ive got a 1.6 x16xe which im going to be putting in my mini. I want to run it on either bike carbs or throttle bodies so I can ditch the standard restrictive injection system. Which bike carbs do I need and how do I go about an inlet manifold. or if I was to go throttle bodies where do I get them? can I take them from a bike? again what do I do with inlet manifold?

Thanks David

Hopefully you have found your answers now, but...

For throttle bodies, I'm using CBR929rrs as they happen to be the right size spacing for my C16XE.

Inlet manifolds, you could either make one up your self using the original inlet or you could contact BoggBrothers and have one made up for you.

You can get throttle bodies and carbs from various places such as motorbike breakers and eBay.

Not as yet, I'm waiting for BoggBrothers to make up the manifold. As soon as it is fitted I will get a picture up :)

Get an angled Weber DCOE inlet and fit 45mm Jenveys.  They're buff!
